Arrests made for recent Pulaski County Thefts

On 07/24/2018, two arrests were made in reference to recent thefts in Pulaski County. Following investigations made by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department Detectives, George Allen Nelson, of Richland Missouri and Jerry Louis Twehus of Laquey Missouri were arrested and charged in the theft of a Mallard Travel Trailer that took place on 06/28/2018. Nelson was charged with the class C felony of Stealing-$25,000 or more, with an additional class D felony charge of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and has a bond set at $100,000 cash or surety.

Twehus was charged with the class C felony of Stealing-$25,000 or more and has a bond set at $100,000 cash or surety. During the investigation it was also found that Twehus was responsible for the theft of a 2002 Dodge Durango that took place on 07/11/2018. He was charged with the class D felony of Stealing a Motor Vehicle, the class D Felony of Forgery and the class D felony of Tampering with a Motor Vehicle in the 1st degree. For these charges his bond has been set at $50,000 cash or surety.
